About us
Hadivo B.V. primarily produces under private label for wholesalers both domestically and internationally. Our products make their way—partly using our own transportation—to Denmark, Germany, Belgium, and England. However, through the network of our wholesalers, our products are also marketed beyond Europe.

Hadivo B.V. has been producing pet food and garden bird feed for 40 years. Over the past 20 years, we have focused primarily on the production of garden bird (supplementary) feed. Our 40 years of experience are invaluable in this process!

Hadivo supplies an international network of wholesalers in Denmark, Germany, Belgium, the United Kingdom, and the Netherlands. Thanks to this network, our products are even marketed outside of Europe!

Our production lines
At our facilities in Bourtange and Heino, our products are produced daily. The production capacity is impressive: no less than 80,000 units are produced per day. The factory has several production lines specializing in various types of bird feed, from seed mixes to energy-rich blocks for the winter months. The raw materials are carefully selected to ensure quality, with a focus on both nutritional value and taste. The production process meets strict quality standards. After production, the bird feed bags are efficiently packaged and prepared for distribution.
An overview of our history
History
The Haaijer family has been active in the pet food industry for decades, founding the company in 1952. The grandfather of the current owner purchased the local mill in 1952 and started supplying animal feed to local farmers. In the 1970s, his son added a wholesale business in small pet food, expanding the market to the three northern provinces of the Netherlands. In the 1980s, the company grew further with the addition of a mixing plant for seeds and grains, and began nationwide distribution. In the early 1990s, production and distribution moved to the city of Groningen.
On January 1, 1995, Hadivo Pet Foods B.V. was founded by the current owner, and operations resumed from the old location in Bourtange. Initially a wholesaler of small pet food, in 1997 the company expanded into the production of wild bird feed. In addition to the well-known peanut nets, we were the first producer to launch mixed nets and garlands with fat balls.
In 2007, a long-held wish was fulfilled when we took over the production of fat balls from Manfred Dernbach of Bad Neuenahr. This not only gave us control over fat ball production but also opened up access to the German market. In 2013, we began producing bird peanut butter, and today we produce around 50 varieties of bird peanut butter for 20 customers.
